Process mechanics specialising in steel forming are experts in material processing during production. For example, they make wheels or axles from raw steel blocks using CNC machines.<\/p>\n
For this purpose, they set up the production facilities independently and control the various rolling, forging and pressing tools with the aid of computers. To do this they heat steel blocks to a temperature of more than 1000 degrees, constantly monitor this process, take material samples and check the temperature, pressure and dimensions.<\/p>\n
If necessary, they change settings on the machines and thus optimise the production process.
