Quality, environmental and energy policy of Bahntechnik Brand-Erbisdorf GmbH

The management of Bahntechnik Brand-Erbisdorf GmbH takes responsibility for the products, activities, services and processes in terms of quality, environment and energy. An integrated management system was implemented for this purpose, which meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN EN ISO 14001 and DIN EN ISO 50001. The regulations of the American AAR M 1003 and the British RISAS are also taken into account.

In particular, the following prerequisites are to be implemented:

• We are committed to continuously improving the management system with integrated components of quality, environment and energy and thereby securing our market position.
• We want to provide convincing and professionally competent advice to all our clients and support them in making decisions. We consider every order as a challenge and as a service to each of our customers.

• When planning and executing the order, we are committed to complying with the relevant legal environmental regulations and requirements as well as the law, and to thereby avoiding environmental pollution or reducing it to a minimum.
• We provide the necessary resources to ensure quality and eco-friendly production/services, especially by deploying appropriately qualified personnel.
• Everyone is responsible for carrying out his duties in a quality-conscious and environmentally-conscious manner and for expanding his/her technical knowledge.

• We, Bahntechnik Brand-Erbisdorf GmbH, are committed to optimising the use of energy, reducing energy consumption in the long term and increasing our energy efficiency on the basis of a continuous improvement process. The resources necessary are provided to a reasonable extent by the management.
• We have introduced an energy management system according to DIN EN ISO 50001 to implement these objectives. We ensure that all requirements of this standard, all the legal and additional applicable requirements are implemented correctly and that the processes within this energy management system are continuously improved.
• Our employees are directly involved in the development of the energy management system through regular information and communication, as well as urged to use energy resources carefully and to identify saving potentials.
• We also want to support the improvement of energy-related performance by purchasing energy efficient products and external services.
