Data protection information incl. details according to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Article 13.

Introduction

As website operators, we also process personal data. In the following, we would like to give you an overview of these processes as well as of your rights and other important in-formation that must be provided in accordance with the General Data Protection Regula-tion. When you visit our website, you can access, save and print out the following data protection information at any time.

What data do we process when you visit our website and why do we do this?

Visiting our website is generally possible without the direct provision of personal data. You do not have to log in with your name etc. during your visit. However, there are also situations in which personal data is processed:

You can contact us via the e-mail address provided. In this case, the user’s personal data transmitted by e-mail will be stored.

However, there is also data that you automatically transmit to us when you visit our web-site. This is your IP address. Without the IP address, we cannot display the website in your browser. Furthermore, when you access our website via a link, you, or your browser, transmit the so-called referrer. Here we see which link you clicked on. You can prevent this by not calling up our page via a link, so clicking on a link, but by entering the page directly in your browser. You also provide us with technical data via your browser and computer:
Which browser, which operating system you are using, how large your monitor is, etc.
We process this data (the IP address) in order to be able to display the website to you. On the other hand, we log the visited websites (your IP address is shortened and thus made anonymous) in order to statistically evaluate the visits and improve our site: Which areas of our website are popular, which are less. Displaying the website to you and also optimi-zing the website is our legitimate interest.

We also do not pass your data on to third parties. However, there are a few exceptions:

• You have asked us to pass the data on,

• You have asked us for something that requires the data to be disclosed,

• it is necessary for legitimate reasons to pass on the data. In this case, our data protection officer will consider whether you might have anything against it. If you do not object at your usual discretion, we may pass on the data even thenOne ex-ample is a criminal attack on our servers. Here we should pass on the relevant parts of the log files to the investigating authorities. The only one who will object is the criminal assailant. And criminals are not protected in their actions.

• And there is the exception that we must legally transmit the data.

In general, all such processing takes place within the framework of the General Data Pro-tection Regulation and the data protection law of the Federal Republic of Germany. A transfer of your personal data to a third country or an international organisation does not take place and is not planned.

We would like to ask you not to provide us with more data than is necessary for the re-spective matter. This helps us to comply with the principle of data minimisation and earmarking. Data that are not (no longer) necessary for a matter are generally deleted promptly.

Please note that we endeavour to secure all types of data transmissions using SSL en-cryption. However, this backup is not complete, so the risk of unintentional disclosure of data cannot be completely excluded.

Automatic decision making such as profiling does not take place.

And what about cookies etc.?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your system and whose contents are trans-ferred back to us, for example. They can serve various purposes. For example, a shop-ping cart can be managed via them or you can be recognized as a website visitor.

There are other techniques that offer comparable functions: IDs in the URL or the “browser fingerprinting”.

For technical reasons, we use these techniques for administration purposes, e.g. for our shopping cart and to save the settings you have made (for example, the ad font size).

We also use these techniques to recognize visitors during their visits to improve our website: If visitors visit us regularly again, we obviously have a good offer – if you only visit our website once and don’t come back, then we have to do something. These data are not personal, we cannot identify you as a visitor here.

You can prevent the creation of cookies by a certain setting of your browser. Information on this can usually be found in the manual of your browser. By preventing the creation of cookies, some functions of our website may fail.

Website analyses: Google Analytics

On our website we use a web analysis service of the company Google Inc. called Google Analytics for the purpose described above, the improvement of our website. This service creates cookies and stores them on your computer system. For this purpose, the data is transmitted to a server in the USA, where it is stored and evaluated. Technically the data collected is made anonymous in Europe, so the IP address is shortened accordingly so that no personal data is transferred to the USA. For this the function “_anonymizeIp()“ is activated, which anonymizes the IP adress.

In general, you can suppress the setting of the cookies using the appropriate browser set-tings or specifically prevent individual cookies. This may impair the functions of our web-site.

There is an order data processing agreement (ADV) with Google. Google Analytics is used with dynamic measurements.

Your rights as a data subject

You have the comprehensive right to information from us at any time as to whether and which of your personal data is processed or disclosed by us or another party for which purposes.

You have the right at any time to have incorrect data corrected and unlawfully processed data deleted immediately. Furthermore, you can request the restriction of the processing of your personal data if on the one hand the continuation of the processing no longer le-gally but on the other hand an immediate deletion does not yet appear necessary. (e. g. if the correctness is disputed, but this must first be checked).

In the case of processing based on Article 6 (1) lit. f DS-GVO, you have the right to object to the processing on grounds arising from your particular situation (Article 21 DS-GVO). In this case, we will no longer process the personal data unless we can prove compelling reasons for the processing worthy of protection that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims. Please contact us for this and give us the reasons mentioned. We will then weight these against our reasons for processing and may no longer process your data.

If the processing is based on your consent, you can revoke this at any time – of course only for the future.
