Open die forgings

On our 4 steam-driven open-die forging hammers we produce various quality forgings for a wide range of applications.

With forged discs or perforated discs, rings and bushings, smooth and stepped shafts or flat or square bars, we record a wide range of our possibilities.

Manufacturing process

Open-die forging is a classical craft and a chipless forming technique belonging to forging.

Forming is done by selectively striking the forging hammer on the forging saddle.

Our hammers are driven by steam and thus produce the shape required by our customers.

Production parameters

By means of our open-die forging hammers we produce forgings up to 800 kg (rings, bushings, discs, perforated discs) and up to 3,500 kg (smooth or stepped shafts).
