With our radial forging machine we manufacture near-contour and pre-materialreduced shafts for a wide range of applications in mechanical engineering.
Our blanks are individually adapted and forged to the respective desired contour.
Each shaft shape, whether it is a flanged, contour-forged or smooth shaft, is unique and is adapted exactly to the customer’s requirements.
Manufacturing process
On our SXP25 radial forging machine, hammer blows are used to apply pressure to a block of starting material heated to forging temperature.
Our manipulators, placed before and after the forging machine, rotate the workpiece between each hammer blow.
This produces shafts that are close to the contour and reduce the amount of starting material used.

Manufacturing parameters
With our radial forging machine we produce shaft-shaped forgings with diameters up to max. 250 mm and a unit weight of max. 1000 kg.
