RISAS
The British series of standards RISAS (Railway Industry Supplier Assessment Scheme) describes the minimum requirements that must be met for the acceptance of critical products and services. Mainly European materials are used, which are standardized in DIN EN 13261. Our approval is reviewed every 3 years.
Manufacturer related product qualification Hollow drilling
With this approval, we are allowed to drill a longitudinal bore in the wheel set axles. For our customers, this has the advantage that the wheel set no longer has to be removed and dismantled for the regular inspection. With the hollow bore, the installed wheel sets are tested from the inside with a lance. This saves our customers an enormous amount of time and money. This approval is valid for 3 years.
Manufacturer related product qualification for hot forming, heat treatment and final machining
This is the manufacturer-related product qualification of Deutsche Bahn AG. Every production site, every manufacturing process, every material and every class of wheelset axles must be approved by Deutsche Bahn AG in a complex qualification process. This approval is reviewed every 3 years.
Manufacturer related product qualification ZfP- conformity
This approval gives us permission to carry out ultrasonic measurements for wheelset axles on automated test systems. This test should also find the smallest defects in the material, which in the worst case cannot be reliably detected with a manual test. This approval is valid for 3 years.
PKP Intercity
PKP Intercity is a Polish railway company specializing in long-distance passenger transport. The company also operates high-speed trains. With this manufacturer-related product qualification, the BVV Group receives approval to deliver wheelsets to this company. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
